What you’ll be doing...

The work you'll be doing is to support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer Security, customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of a Subject matter expert who would be supporting you on delivery, you will also work as a team member on various projects and mentor junior resources. You will help develop, implement and maintain this important application.

• Planning, designing, developing, coding and testing software systems or applications for software improvements and new products; revising and refining as required.
• Participating in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems.
• Conceptualizing and developing prototypes quickly in working with the product and architect.
• Engaging in engineering discussions, contributing to the conversation, providing your own opinions, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, and enriching the environment.
• Deploying high-performance distributed micro services and systems for platform products.
• Building something awesome. The ideal project is something you can be proud of that we use in our product.
• Maintaining and improving existing code with a pride of ownership.

What we’re looking for...

You are self-driven with experience in design and implementation of complex and distributed systems, particularly in building high-performance and Secured IOS Application. You have a passion for seeking engineering excellence and adopting new technologies. You are not afraid to drive for success by working with multi-functional teams.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Experience in Developing IOS Applications. 
• Experience in Swift and Objective C
• Experience with core iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI,Networking, Notification and Core Data.
• Experience with Crash reporting and Debugging. 
• Experience with Test flight and App releases. 
• Experience with Unit Testing and Test Driven Framework. 
• Knowledge of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Experience in Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and projects.
• Experience in databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle) for data storage, retrieval, and basic optimization.
• Knowledge of large-scale software architecture, networking and distributed systems, design patterns, and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Git and the ability to work with branches, pull requests, and merges.
• Experience in Designing/Developing reusable framework.
• Experience with development and interacting with HTTP/RESTful APIs, Microservices.
• Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
• Experience in AI Tools like Copilot and Gemini AI for integrating Development workflow
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent Problem solving and Debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience with Angular, React JS and NodeJS. 
• Experience in Java
• Experience in Full stack development
• Experience in AI Development 
• Exposure to AWS architecture, concepts, and tools.
• Container platforms like Docker or relevant.
