Salary: $27-30/hr
CNC Set Up Machinist
Shift: 1std shift
Pay: $25-30/hr (based on experience)
Where: near eastside of Indianapolis
Evaluation Hire for the right candidate
Duties:
- Will operate various CNC controlled machines
- Setup operations on various CNC machines including ID, OD, and profile grinders.
- Will make off-set and wheel changes to CNC machine setup parameters as needed to maintain quality.
- Will use Guardian ERP system to control part quantities and location.
- In conjunction with manufacturing engineering will aid other less experienced CNC machine operators with setups and operation of various CNC machining and grinding machines.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of previous experience in a CNC production grinding facility
- Ability to perform setups of new and existing parts on CNC lathes, OD grinder, ID grinder, profile grinders and milling centers.
- Experience with Okuma, Okamoto, Haas and Studer Controls a plus.
- Ability to operate multiple CNC at the same time
- Ability to read and understand all necessary measuring devices to verify parts meet all applicable requirements (ex: calipers, micrometers, depth mics, comparators, CMM, visions systems etc
