This is an exciting opportunity to join the Major Programmes & Projects (MPP) team as we build modern Single Living Accommodation (SLA) for Armed Forces personnel. The Single Living Accommodation (SLA) Programmatic Approach (PA) is implementing efficient processes for delivering new build accommodation through collaboration. It focuses on standardising design and commercial processes to establish a platform approach, aligned to Government and MOD strategies. It uses offsite manufacture to create high quality, sustainable accommodation across the Estate that enhances the lived experience of our service personnel.
We are seeking a Programme Support Officer, with Project Management Experience, to support of our Front-Line Commands, improve delivery for UK Defence and realise the benefits of the programme. The role will cover a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of the Programme’s objectives but with specific responsibility for our Pan TLB Pipeline. This is a key part of the Programmatic Approach which assists with TLB planning, allocation of projects to Alliance Members and tracking of key Programme metrics.
You will be actively involved in stakeholder engagement and have a good knowledge of RIBA project stages preferably from working on infrastructure projects.

The key tasks for this role are:
Planning and Scheduling
Leading on the management of a 10-year pipeline of work for SLA projects.
Maintaining the pipeline; monitoring all SLA PA project delivery (RIBA) timelines to inform programme pipeline and allocations.
Refining cost and time assumptions as the programme matures. Two-way engagement with FLC TLB Planners and DIO MPP PMOs to both inform pipeline updates and present the pipeline as a data source.
Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor & Report on controls in relation to the value and progress of the Programme as determined by the Out letter to the Business Case.
Stakeholder Engagement
Develop and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in order to understand end user requirements and effectively
communicate the benefits of the Programme.
KPIs
Support Commercial colleagues with KPI tracking at Alliance and project level and be able to feedback trends and concerns within the Programme Team.
Business Cases
Support the drafting of business cases and review notes as required in relation to the Programme.
General
Support as required including, but not limited to, Programme Governance, Risk & Information Management.
Licences
As this role requires frequent visits to our sites, some of which are remote, the successful candidate is expected to hold a current driving licence
