The Role: 

Entegris China is seeking a talented account manager for our Advanced Purify Solution and Materials Solution business in China Semiconductor market. This position is responsible for assigned strategy account management, focus on strategic account engagement following sales & marketing plans in order to grow revenue, improve profitability and grow market share, execution of new product/solution selling strategies, resulting in corporate recognition as the premier supplier of technology, enable and process efficiency solutions. This sales role will be relied upon to continue to improve and enhance strategic account management, implement innovative sales models to communicate company’s value to customers and to continue to raise the overall standards of excellence of the sales channels management. This position will be based in China Shanghai and may require occasional domestic and international travels. 

In this role you will: 

  • Demonstrates responsibility and leadership for assigned strategic customer accounts, fully accountable for sales revenue growth and meeting YoY sales objectives and targets 
  • Develops and maintains senior level customer connections and strengthen customer relationships for new sales marketing opportunity and solution selling opportunities development. 
  • Understands corporate business division and sales and marketing operation goals, to develop and execute account strategy plan to achieve sales objectives with the collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Understands and foresees customer’s business and technology road map and drives internal teams for continuous improvement and development, including new product performance and quality, establishing technical edge and market competitiveness for attaining or maintaining critical supplier position, and for maximizing revenue, profit and market share growth at accounts. 
  • Working closely with management team and sales leaders to support, oversight, and manage key Sales Channel Partners, working closely with SCPs to refine their selling strategy and focusing on the new market opportunities development 
  • Participates in regional sales and marketing meetings for regular business and account update. Implement account sales rolling forecast, be sure accurate from understanding business trend at accounts. 
  • Drives effective pricing strategy and manages contract and price negotiations process at accounts; focuses on enlarge or develop market share average in accordance with total profit strategy. 
  • Ensures information sharing and alignment for global accounts thru a across regional collaboration with global KAMs 
  • Serves as company primary point of escalation in addressing and resolving matters that have been elevated as a critical. Provides key stakeholders (BU, Region, Corporate) visibility of problems/issues that warrant their attention. 
  • Demonstrates leadership presence that is capable of diffusing/resolving escalated matters yet do so in a manner that keeps Company in good standing. 
  • Maintains Service Available Market Share projections. 
  • Effectively utilizes the support of Regional Product Support and Field Applications Engineers for pre and after-sale activities to improve our customer satisfaction 
  • Establishes relationships with all key management team or individual at assigned accounts to promote partnerships, and ensures Entegris is supporting customer’s long term business strategy. 
  • When warranted, develops a supplier rating management process with cross functional teams; orchestrates internal action plans based on customer feedback and continuous improvement activities to achieve customer’s satisfaction. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

  • Ideal candidate is an independent, assertive self-starter with good people skills, who has at least 8+ years’ working experience in China semiconductor industry. 
  • Seasoned knowledge and experience of selling the equipment, spare parts, semiconductor materials and solutions within the semiconductor industry. Large account management experience in semiconductor industry or related OEM market is strongly desired, at least 5+ years sales and account management experience is preferred. 
  • Proven experience of business growth and development with a strong desire of sales career development 
  • Strong leadership, communication, strategic sales planning and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets customer financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write sales reports, business update presentation, and primary product introduction. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers. 
  • Since this role is a liaison between customers, FTE, BU/PM and other internal supporting teams, strong internal communication and influential skill is required. 
  • Fluent in English reading, write and speaking. 
  • This position will be based in Shanghai office.
