RESPONSABILITIES

Panasonic Information Systems Company EU (PISCEU) is looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer that will be responsible for SOC operations and development, including incident monitoring across the entire European region. Some IT security incidents will involve more than one region, so you must be able to work with people and coordinate across all involved regions and organizations, which may be internal or external to Panasonic.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the development of Panasonic SOC processes, tooling, and the general security posture of our company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to adopt security best practices and adjust incident response procedures.

Currently, our SOC operations cover IT services, systems, and office/home office users. However, we are starting a project to expand SOC operations and include European Panasonic manufacturing environments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a SOC
  • Willingness to learn manufacturing SOC technologies and collaborate on the manufacturing SOC implementation project, and later work in the field
  • General and practical knowledge of IT security tools (e.g., SIEM, XDR, email security gateways)
  • Knowledge of Internet technologies, protocols, and tools
  • Ability to automate manual tasks related to incident response and reporting (preferably using Logic Apps, Power BI or similar tools)
  • Ability to translate complex technical matters to a higher management level
  • Good knowledge of PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Experience in project management or at least in project work

Nice to have:

  • Experience in manufacturing SOC operations
  • Experience with Microsoft security ecosystem (Sentinel, Defender XDR)
  • Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK Framework
  • Experience in implementing projects of IT security systems

The successful candidate should ideally work from our Warsaw office, but we are willing to consider applicants from anywhere in Poland.
