HSE is investing in several third-party software products to support our key business functions. You will be working with others to get the best out of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and other chosen software applications, ensuring resources are prioritised where they deliver the greatest value.

As a Dynamics Functional Consultant, you will be a functional consultant in our Digital Dynamics Team and will be working closely with projects, business teams, analysts, and user experience specialists. You will deliver and maintain solutions that meet business needs with efficient and effective processes and ways of working. You will be a key part of the digital transformation of HSE.

Working Pattern

Part time working hours are available for this role. We can accept part time applicants who can commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Job description

You will enjoy and thrive in working openly, collaboratively and as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on one or more projects.

You will be supporting existing systems, designing, and delivering new features as we develop our service, adhering to standards and using Agile principles ensuring timely production of goals and approvals through constructive collaboration with all relevant parties contributing to innovation of all products.

Key responsibilities and technical skills

  • Configure the CRM system to meet the business and end user needs. Specifically utilising Customer Service and Field Service modules in Dynamics 365 and utilising Power Platform
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects to implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions ensuring it operates seamlessly and efficiently with other back-office solutions.
  • Use of Azure DevOps to record development and configuration activities.
  • Monitor and assess data capacity within a solution to ensure space utilisation continues to reflect business needs efficiently.
  • Configure CRM workflows to support business processes, extract data, produce tailored reports and respond to information requests.
  • Utilise CRM export and import processes to support team requirements.
  • Manage change and deployment cycles for new and existing implementations across the CRM platform.
  • Manage the efficient planning and delivery of new updates, modifications, and the adoption of best practice policies, including conducting research to identify opportunities to leverage new functionality within the system that is released by Microsoft.
  • Manage and coach a team of CRM/ Dynamics Support Analysts.

Travel – Hybrid approach with base at any HSE office. Travel to other offices will be required on occasion, including our HQ in Bootle.

Essential Skills and Criteria

  • Good experience with Microsoft Dynamic CRM 365 (Customer Service and Field Service modules), specifically around solution and entity creation and deployment.
  • Proficient with configuring, deploying, and customising Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the power apps portal.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps would be preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript would be preferable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience using the power apps platform admin centre for key environment management tasks and database management.
  • A good understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Azure tenancy, Outlook, and Power Platform.
  • Experience creating, deploying, and managing power automate workflows.
