About the Team

The Systems Engineering team at Nutanix is a dynamic, collaborative group based in Denver, Colorado, focused on delivering innovative solutions to customers while aligning closely with sales teams to drive business success. You will report to the Manager, Systems Engineering, who fosters a supportive and collaborative leadership style, valuing strong presentation skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The work setup for this position will be fully remote, with no specified in-office requirements, allowing for flexibility in your work environment while staying connected to the team and customers.

This role does not require regular travel, focusing primarily on local interactions within the Denver area. Any travel will be minimal and only as needed for special events, such as sales kickoffs or customer engagements, ensuring that the primary responsibilities can be managed remotely.

Your Role

  • Engage with customers to identify business objectives and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demos, effectively communicating product benefits.
  • Collaborate closely with sales executives to strategize account penetration.
  • Develop and size solutions, building compelling proposals for clients.
  • Participate in marketing events and cross-functional meetings, representing the team effectively.
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene and manage back-office tasks to support sales efforts.
  • Achieve alignment with the sales executive and establish relationships within the Charter Spectrum Reach account.
  • Demonstrate a hunter mentality to actively seek and pursue new opportunities.

What You Will Bring

  • 7 to 9 years of industry experience, ideally in IT and sales.
  • Prior experience with Nutanix or sales experience in Nutanix solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud native technologies and one of the three major public clouds or Kubernetes.
  • Background knowledge in storage and networking.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with an empathetic approach.
  • Hunter mentality with a focus on sales execution and opportunities.
  • Ability to understand and address database challenges, particularly with SAP HANA and unstructured data.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $195,920 and USD $293,880 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
