What You will do:

  • Understanding of the company product line and chemical compositions. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques and disposal methods
  • Conduct laboratory and field tests to assist in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of hydrocarbon, non-hydrocarbon gas or water streams
  • Provide technical support and assistance to improve site applications product, trials and pump maintenance
  • Maintain logbooks and database accurately and timely. Write technical reports and/or prepare graphs and charts to document maintenance results and records.
  • Perform routine monitoring, sampling, and analysis activities as per scope of work or test programs. Maintain analytical facilities in accordance with management standards and Good Laboratory Practice
  • Coordinates field chemical applications as part of the team response, troubleshoots problems as appropriate
  • Advise and track chemical stock inventory to maintain sufficient chemical supplies and maintain and/or adjust chemical injection to specified application rates. Inform supervisor timely of any corrective actions to maintain security of supply
  • Serves as point of contact between company department(s) and field assets regarding project pump maintenance activities, problem identification, resolution and follow up
  • Carry out preventative maintenance activities on chemical injection pumps in accordance with maintenance schedule/plan and standard maintenance operating procedures
  • Execute non-routine and breakdown activities as assigned with the ability to prioritize work programs

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of operations of chemical applications and ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Organizing and coordinating skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of the Company product line, chemical compositions. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language.
  • Knowledge of Mathematics fundamentals, and their applications. Knowledge of chemical storage tanks, chemical injection pumps, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
