Position: Manufacturing Project Engineer
Location: Dent, OH
Compensation: $110-120K
Responsibilities:
- Project Design & Planning:
- Assess customer requirements and drawings to determine project feasibility.
- Develop detailed project layouts and preliminary design proposals.
- Integrate technical innovations to enhance project designs.
- Project Management & Execution:
- Manage projects from ordering equipment to overseeing startup and training.
- Coordinate contractors, ensuring compliance with project specs, safety, and timelines.
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and select parts and equipment.
- Oversee installation and startup phases, managing on-site contractors.
- Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving design-related challenges.
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and vendor teams to drive project success.
- Prepare detailed proposal documentation, including technical specifications.
- Continuous Improvement & Compliance:
- Conduct engineering and design reviews to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer
- Previous experience in the Manufacturing, Construction or Engineering Industry
- Previous experience with AutoCAD Inventor
- Background in Construction or Industrial Projects is a plus
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally (passport required).
