Postdoc Research Associate (2 years)

Job purpose:

The aim of this 2-years Postdoctoral position is to develop a cutting-edge mass spectrometry (MS)-based workflow for systematically identifying and characterizing antigenic peptides presented by Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) molecules, which are crucial in the immune response.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, proteomics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and optimizing immunopeptidomics workflows, including cellular in vitro steps and MS experimental and analytical methods.
• Proven expertise in using mass spectrometry for the identification, quantification and characterization of antigenic peptides.
• Strong understanding of immune system functions, particularly involving MHC molecules and antigen presentation.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and software for analyzing mass spectrometry data, including experience with large datasets.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English, French is a nice to have .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the principles and techniques used in vaccine development, particularly in relation to antigen and epitope discovery.
• Experience with emerging technologies in proteomics and peptidomics, such as high-throughput screening methods.
• Experience managing complex research projects, including coordinating with team members and external collaborators.
• Strong track record of publications in high-impact journals related to immunopeptidomics, mass spectrometry, or related fields.
