Job Description

Learning Support Assistant

What You’ll Do:

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in our Special Needs Program, you’ll be a valued member of our Learning Support Department. Your role is to collaborate with specialist teachers, classroom teachers, subject teachers, and therapists to ensure all students have their learning needs met. You’ll play a key role in helping students access mainstream curriculum activities, fostering their success and independence.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building caring, nurturing relationships with students.
  • Working closely with teachers to create well-coordinated, consistent learning programs.
  • Supporting students in both academic and social settings.
  • Engaging in professional development opportunities and applying your learning in the classroom.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking enthusiastic, committed professionals who can bring passion and dedication to this demanding but rewarding role.

You’ll assist students and teachers by:

  • Being punctual and fully engaged in all lessons.
  • Implementing strategies from Individual Plans to meet student goals.
  • Adapting tasks and preparing resources to support diverse learning needs.
  • Clarifying instructions, providing visual or verbal support, and reinforcing activities.
  • Encouraging positive behavior and fostering student independence.
  • Communicating closely with parents and collaborating with specialist staff.
  • Supporting students during school trips, community experiences, and extracurricular activities.
  • Participating in school events and duties as assigned.

  • Enthusiastic about professional and personal growth.
  • Sensitive and compassionate in addressing students’ personal needs.
  • Positive, encouraging, and motivated to help students succeed.

Required:

  • Fluency in Thai and familiarity with Thai culture are essential for effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in Thailand.
