The role of the Career Pathway and Development Adviser is to work with business areas to identify career pathways in the House of Commons and the skills and capabilities needed to progress a career in the House.
You will identify opportunities to improve organisational impact through applying whole system thinking and delivering modern and inclusive career and skills development frameworks to meet the evolving needs of Parliament.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Qualifications , A professional qualification equivalent to Associate Member level of CIPD (Profession Map) and equivalent work experience in career pathways, coaching, and the design and facilitation of development offers.
Career Frameworks , Evidence of identifying and mapping career pathways and frameworks in a complex organisation consisting of various professional groups. Working with internal and external subject matter experts.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence , Ability to apply a consultancy approach to effectively scope, diagnose, deliver, and evaluate career pathway mapping and frameworks which deliver value to customers and the business. Ability to present proposals with clarity and amend them based on feedback.
Project Management & Delivery , Ability to deliver careers projects from commission to conclusion, measuring value and impact using a data driven approach.
Innovation & Communication , Enthusiasm for researching, learning, and implementing new and emerging thinking around career frameworks and development. Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and customer engagement skills.
