Responsibilities

MTSI is seeking a full-time Network Architect located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for acting as the prime contract liaison to the government mission partner, operational leadership and sub-contractors for configuring, installing, and maintaining mission networks needed to support the Air Force Advanced Aircraft Division.

TRAVEL WITHIN CONUS MAY BE REQUIRED UP TO 25%.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

&bull Experience with Cloud infrastructure design in a networking capacity.

&bull Expert Knowledge of TCP/IP, spanning-tree architecture, subnetting architecture, routing protocols and routing system architecture and design, access control lists, wireless, vpn architecture, network access control architecture, and firewall architecture.

&bull Experience in a multi-vendor environment, with the ability to transfer network configurations and concepts from one vendor to another. Desired vendor experience in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto firewalls.

&bull Extensive configuration and system design experience with OSPF, BGP, port-channels, firewalls, network fabrics, and DMVPN.

&bull Network tools including but not limited to: Ansible, Wireshark, Network Management Systems, Network configuration management, sflow/netflow, IPAM, and SDN.

&bull Linux experience.

&bull Version control system experience.

&bull Git familiarity a plus.

&bull Ability to communicate complex network solutions to technical and non-technical employees.

&bull Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility.

Qualifications

&bull Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or related fields.

&bull Desired Certifications: CCNP, JNCIP-ENT or similar.

&bull Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field or comparable experience

&bull Must have 10+ years' of experience

&bull Must hold an active TS/SCI Security Clearance
