What to Expect
The Tesla Suspension Firmware team is looking for an experienced Validation Engineer to create and develop validation software, test cases, infrastructure, and tooling to validate the Tesla Air Suspension and Adaptive Damping firmware. As a software validation engineer, you will conceptualize, design and build software validation tools that allow rapid algorithm development, testing against real world data, regression analysis, and integrate physics-based models. You will also be closely involved with the suspension system functionality, expanding our test coverage, and pushing to break the code.
This is a unique opportunity to build innovative infrastructure, tooling, automation, validation systems, and more. You will be challenged to apply this across all products including Cybertruck, Semi-Truck, and Model S/X air suspension and across all operating modes like track mode, cheetah stance, auto-leveling, and off-road features.
We are a small team with deep system experience who strive to build reliable, highly performant, distributed embedded systems using cutting edge software development tools and practices. We are looking for someone with similar domain expertise who is excited about working on a core vehicle function that defines the Tesla driving experience.
