Due to significant growth across our Transmission & Distribution Ltd UK business, we are currently seeking to build a talent pool of both first appointment and experienced Overhead Lines Construction Mangers. This additional site management resource within construction is required to support our growing future workload across overhead lines (OHL). Our upcoming opportunities are site-based positions, we have works issued under various OHL frameworks supporting various clients which means the position is UK wide. You will need to be flexible in your work location as you will be away from home for periods of time and will travel and work across the UK.

The Role
Supporting the project manager, you will supervise and deliver key packages of overhead lines (OHL) construction projects. You will assist in the production of construction plans and coordinate the engineering support team. You will also be responsible for the procurement of construction materials and specialist subcontracts for the successful delivery of projects. You will have previous experience of managing sites and field-based staff on overhead lines (OHL) projects and associated civil works. Technical expertise of OHL installation methods and all safety aspects including safety from the system are key. Previous working knowledge of distribution network operators is essential.
Individuals who can demonstrate their interest in developing their skillset in overhead lines and who are enthusiastic about progressing their career within the Transmission and Distribution sector are encouraged to apply.
