Embedded within the Headquarters of RAF Honington and working directly for the Head of Establishment, the Information Knowledge Manager (IKM) post supports the unit by ensuring that information is being captured, stored, distributed, used, retained, and eventually disposed of, in accordance with the law, MOD and AIR policy and guidance. This is an opportunity to work within a high-profile and exciting environment and is vital in helping the Unit refine their processes to use information effectively.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week, part time or job share only available if full time hours can be achieved. There will be training required which will mean a stay away from home & unit.
The IKM will form part of a dedicated workforce and the primary roles include but are not limited to:

The post does not offer relocation expenses.
External recruits who join the MOD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six-month probation period.
