Responsibilities
Summary of the Role:
- Understands healthcare environment in strategic areas for Cordis Corporation & communicates with Marketing and Commercial teams to understand local markets
- Develops corresponding ProfEd Programs (incl: virtual sessions, workshops, proposing agendas, course objectives & target participants, in collaboration with HCP-Faculty)
- Develops standardized course content in collaboration with leading academicians, KOLs etc, and with other Cordis functions (clinical communications, marketing, etc)
- Supports the operational management of the educational grant process
Professional Education Tasks:
- Professional Education program tactical plan development (curriculum, physician engagement, acting as a project manager to ensure flawless execution of workshops).
- Identification and development of existing training centers/ educational infrastructures for the courses in strategic medical areas
- Collaboration with EMEA KOLs to ensure top Faculty and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) selection
- Prepare required information, align didactic materials with the Faculty + participant selection criteria
- Professional Education activities on site support (in cath labs, at training centers, during the conferences)
- Carrying out professional education follow up activities
- Measuring KPIs via feedback collection and continuosly improving based on metrics
Efficient collaboration and synergy:
- Ensures efficient collaboration, clear communication and structured processes with the commercial organization
- Liaises with Marketing team and local leaders to ensure strategic synergies in Professional Education where applicable
- Ensure International-region integration, visibility and efficient use of resources + budget
- Keeps track of cross-border HCP requests for prof-ed engagement, makes suggestions, aligns with local teams, and communicates with HCPs on availability, scope, and contracts.
- Provides support for strategic functions: strategic Professional Education initiatives, Market development projects, Medical Faculty Education
Process Management & Reporting:
- Works within Compliance guidelines to ensure all education activities are compliant
- Is up to date and effectively deploys all processes and channels (educational grants, fee for service, sponsorship agreements and etc.) of Professional Education events organization, logistics & reporting
- Prepares all necessary decks and reports in timely and diligent manner for internal & external meetings
Qualifications
What you will need
- Bachelors or masters degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a medical device company (in training, education, marketing, or sales) or at min. 2 years clinician experience in nursing, in the cath lab, medical engineer, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, ideally with previous experience in communicating with HCPs in a professional manner.
- Excellent oral and written communication (experienced in giving presentations, powerpoint, excel, word)
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time within EMEA and APAC region
- Excellent attention to detail & proactive attitude.
What else we look for
- Experience in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, endovascular surgery
- Moderate knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science
- A strong command of English + additional language a plus (Spanish, German, Chinese, preferred).
