Job Description

As a Frontend Engineer Team Lead in the OS platform, you’ll be part of creating a platform that allows developers at Wix to build fast, reliable, and consistent back-office pages and deliver a seamless experience to users. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Manage a team of experienced frontend developers, including roadmap and vision building, task prioritization, decision making, and people management
• Work within the team, provide mentorship and advice and encourage knowledge sharing with other teams in the group
• Design complex platform architecture, using a deep technical understanding of both internal and external systems
• Provide scalable and widely applicable solutions for both cross-Wix and cross-platform challenges
• Collaborate with various Wix groups and stakeholders to understand requirements and create actionable plans

Qualifications

• Fullstack Engineer with 5+ years of experience in leading and implementing frontend infrastructure projects in large environments, and 2+ years of experience in team management
• Expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, and popular frameworks like React and Node.js
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex frontend infrastructure issues
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results in established timelines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a can-do positive mindset and an ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest frontend and infrastructure trends and adapt to evolving technologies
