We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Accounting team. The Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for reviewing and processing a high volume of invoices and expense reports, verifying purchase orders, preparing payments, and maintaining of vendor relationships. This requires an advanced conceptual understanding and knowledge of Accounts payable processes, strong written and verbal communication skills, a strong customer focus and being results driven.

• This position is 100% in office and will be based in Irvine, CA.

General Responsibilities:

• Process and audit invoices and expense reports
• Provide support to more junior level AP accountants
• Resolves invoice exceptions by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Responds to supplier requests for invoice payment status
• Reconciles past invoice discrepancies

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• Pay Range is $33.00-$38.00 an hour
• The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
• Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
• Accredited Payables Specialist (APS) certification highly preferred
• 5+ years of prior Accounts Payable, or other equivalent experience is required.
• Working knowledge of general account practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook,
• Previous experience in an Oracle system is preferred
