We are seeking a results-driven Senior Site Reliability Engineer specialized in Azure to join our team. This role involves working with our innovative platform that facilitates access to traditional desktop applications and services through a cloud environment. You will play a crucial role in migrating existing services to the OpenShift platform, aiming to create a cloud-agnostic infrastructure currently based in GCP and Azure.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support the migration of services to the OpenShift platform
- Implement and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for configuring environments and deploying new applications
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Oversee and optimize infrastructure aspects, including networking and operating systems
- Manage Kubernetes and Docker containers to improve system operability
- Troubleshoot and debug operational issues efficiently
- Monitor cloud performance and ensure adherence to SLIs
- Enhance system reliability and scalability in public clouds, particularly Azure and GCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve infrastructure goals
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills related to cloud and SRE practices
Requirements
- 4+ years of Systems Engineer experience with a development background
- Proficiency in Linux
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker
- Competency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring techniques and understanding of SLIs
- Familiarity with either GCP or Azure cloud environments
Nice to have
- Experience with Windows environments
- Background in CI/CD practices, especially Azure DevOps
- Understanding of Istio
- Familiarity with GitOps tools like ArgoCD
