Job Summary

As a Revit Designer, you will play a key role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for residences. The most rewarding aspect of this role is that you will help ensure we provide customers with a building experience that stays within the budget and on time.

These skills will be used to: 

  • Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Revit.
  • Generate different types of drawings from Revit models, such as floor plans, sections, and elevations, along with design options.
  • Produce renderings and visualizations of the project for presentations and marketing materials
  • Develop and maintain Revit templates and families to streamline design processes
  • Continually update skills and knowledge of software upgrades and improvements
  • Resolve design and technical issues throughout the product lifecycle
  • Collaborate with architectural teams and multiple internal support teams to create detailed designs.
  • Ensure all designs and drawings follow residential building codes and company product guidelines.
  • Modify and update designs based on feedback and reviews.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy of all designs.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Revit Designer or similar role.
  • Interpret and implement architectural, structural and MEP plans in the Revit environment
  • Strong expertise in using Revit software and other design tools.
  • Excellent understanding of architectural, structural and MEP plans.
  • Strong spatial awareness and ability to visualize concepts and 3D designs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Physical demands and work environment:

  • Must use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the telephone and face-to-face contact.
  • Must be able to effectively use and operate various office-related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods with low periods of reaching and standing.
