Responsibilities

1. Clinical Leadership Support: 

  • Collaborate with allied clinical leadership in analysis, strategies, and tactics to expand and improve services across allied practices. 
  • Collaborate with key constituents across the organization, including senior field operations, marketing, insurance, procurement, training, and analytics departments. 
  • Provide mentorship through monthly meeting with Dental Directors 
  • Support and enhance performance metrics and methodologies to improve quality of care. 
  • Support Dental Director initiatives and dental continuous quality improvement plan. 
  • Support Dental Directors in assessing and developing programs for integration of new technologies. 
  • Support all allied practices within the geography of the division 

2. Strategic Planning: 

  • Partner with Divisional Presidents of Operations and Divisional Hygiene Advisor to ensure alignment of strategy implementation. 
  • Identify and develop opportunities for growth. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Identify and Develop capacity opportunities. 
  • Evaluate potential candidates for the Path to Partnership track. 

3. Recruitment, Retention, & Onboarding: 

  • Support Dental Directors in the provider recruitment process. 
  • Partner with operations to ensure an effective and welcoming onboarding process for new providers. 
  • Support and advise on alignment with University and Residency programs 

4. Coaching & Development: 

  • Identify areas for development for Dental Directors and provide mentorship through monthly meeting with Dental Directors. 
  • Support Dental Directors in their efforts to mentor and coach their teams. 
  • Support and coordinate clinical continuing education and partner with training department to arrange presentations 
  • Support leadership training and encourage entrepreneurial thinking related to allied practice growth. 

5. Regulatory Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and enterprise-specific regulations. 
  • Stay updated on changes to regulations and support changes to policies and procedures accordingly. 

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and clinical expertise within a Dental Service Organization or large group of Dental Practices. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to align organizational strategies. 
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring. 
  • Acumen in evaluating analytics to identify evolving trends in case acceptance and patient care. 
  • Servant leader, with proven ability to improve clinician morale and impact culture. 
  • Ability to drive improvements in patient care. 
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and the ability to ensure compliance. 
  • Licensed Dentist 
  • Ability and willingness to obtain dental licensure in a State (or States) within the division.
  • Ability and willingness to ensure compliance with laws and regulations for allied practices under purview. 

This role is highly strategic and requires an individual who can inspire and support clinicians and develop and support leaders to promote clinical excellence and organizational growth.
