Processor Trainee, RHSB - B Shift

12hr-B Shift (United States of America)

The processor trainees are responsible for operating injection/blow molding/reheat machinery to facilitate the production of plastic bottles, and completing all department quality system paperwork. The processors are also responsible for completing periodic machine and product checks.

  • Handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties.
  • Will be required to make machine adjustments as needed with the assistance of buttons, controls, and hand tools.
  • May be required to dislodge jams in machinery
  • Inspection of products and boxing, must have a good eye for defects
  • Monitor machine controls to ensure proper process
  • Work cohesively with Quality Control to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Complete required paperwork for departments quality system
  • Conduct periodic machine and product checks.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Employee could be exposed to seasonal weather conditions if required to go outdoors. Proper use of PPE is required at all times.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be regularly required to:

  • Remain stationary extended periods of time
  • Move around production floor
  • Communicate with subordinates
  • Position self to ground level as needed
  • Move, adjust, and position anywhere from 10 to 45 lbs
  • Identify, recognize and assess documents, machinery and more.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Previous plastic molding experience
  • 1+ years of machine operating experience
