Job Description
Part-time clinical adjunct nursing position for the RN program at the Middletown campus. This position may require clinical or laboratory instruction. Schedules may include day, evening, or weekend hours in an off campus or on campus lab and/or clinical site. Only online applications are accepted.
Compensation and Benefits:
The minimum hourly rate for the position is $40.32 per hour, however, actual starting rate is commensurate with education and/or experience. The position is part time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.
Nursing wage hourly rate schedule as of July 1, 2024:
Associate’s Degree: $40.32
Bachelor’s Degree: $43.03
Master’s Degree (includes DDS, MD, DVS, JD, DPT): $45.70
Doctorate: $48.39
Telework
According to DHRM policy 1.61 Teleworking, effective July 5, 2022, Virginia state employees will return to the workplace. KSA's/Required QualificationsDemonstrated clinical experience in mother/baby or medical/surgical nursing.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to be a team player.
Willingness to support the institution, division, and program goals to contribute to the success of the nursing program.
Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
