Vehicle Tech Lead JOB DESCRIPTION Gilbert Unified School District
Purpose Statement The job of Vehicle Tech Lead is done for the purpose/s of ensuring the availability of vehicles in safe operating condition and includes determining needed repairs on district vehicles; performing required repairs and preventive maintenance; providing written documentation of repairs to meet district, state and federal requirements; overseeing the workforce and serving as supervisor in the absence of the Shop Foreman.

Experience, Education, and Certifications Experience: At least 10 years of Heavy line experience, with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Education: Targeted job related education that meets organization’s prerequisite requirements. Certifications/Clearances: Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card while employed. Commercial Driver’s License Class B with P&S endorsements, 609 Refrigerant Recycling and Procedure certificate, Cummins cerfification on Mid- range engines.
