This position is responsible for driving a diesel powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form. 

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. A valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsements and six months or more of commercial driving experience
  3. Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
  4. Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
  5. Must be able to pass a DOT physical at pre-employment clinic appointment.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                                                                           

  1. Uses safe work procedures that comply with safety policies and regulations. (Federal, state, local and company policies.)
  1. Operates Commercial Vehicle in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and company safety policies.
  2. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
  3. Loads truck and delivers product to assigned destination.
  4. Assists workers in loading and unloading truck.
  5. Maintains driver log according to regulations.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Typical hours during Production are M-F 6:30am-5pm. Typical hours during Maintenance are M-F 7:30am-3:30pm.
