The Product Manager position will play a major role in defining, prioritizing, and executing product features within Switchfly’s core travel Loyalty and Packaging product.  The Product Manager must be able to research existing functionality and solution new features in accordance with the vision and direction of the product. To succeed in this role, you must have strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines, learn quickly, defend your decisions, and deliver clear and concise specifications. This position will require constant and effective interaction with developers, UX designers, QA, and account managers. Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, detailed software requirements documents/stories for engineering consumption
  • Perform gap analysis and business analysis
  • Use web and data analytics, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to prioritize and design products
  • Participate, drive, and deliver against the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Advocate and defend your ideas and decisions to the project team
  • Weigh and prioritize features based on a variety of criteria
  • Provide input and guidance for UX/UI design and prototyping
  • Research/resolve issues and questions quickly and accurately as a subject matter expert
  • Assist in client migration efforts of large product-driven initiatives
  • Document features/functionality for internal/external consumption, e.g., release notes

 Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (Agile/scrum development process)
  • Experience writing software requirement/functional design documents
  • Self-motivated, detailed oriented, and passionate about exceeding expectations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to excel independently and collaboratively in a fluid environment

    • Responsive web experience (desktop / tablet / handheld)
    • Web accessibility experience
    • Professional client interaction
