This is a 2 year international assignment with additional compensation emoluments.

Job Summary:

The OCONUS EM-CSA Project Engineer will oversee execution of a new Control Actuation System (CAS) product development that will be designed, analyzed, tested, fabricated and assembled in Spain. Individual will ensure that the CAS remains on plan/schedule. Project Engineer will help supplier achieve 100% first-pass acceptance of technical SDRLs (subcontractor deliverables to Raytheon).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Reporting in-country progress and barriers to Raytheon program leadership in the U.S., closely working with the in-country team to understand and clearly communicate execution program risk, barriers and issues (cost, schedule or technical).
  • Understanding program budget and schedule and providing timely inputs into the integrated master schedule that will be maintained by Raytheon program leadership in the U.S. Project Engineer to coordinate all technical interchanges (online or in-person) and support export/import license and transactions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience in systems, mechanical or electrical design
  • Experience in hardware engineering design, development and production support
  • Experience with development of actuation and feedback control systems, in all development phases
  • Experience with ITAR regulations and creating, implementing and adhering to licensing agreements
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Military Missile Systems and electronics
  • Taking projects from requirements development through qualification
  • Earned-Value Management certification
  • Familiarity with the Estimate at Complete Process
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead small teams to success with technical execution, schedule, and budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Spanish speaking ability
  • Existing secret clearance

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
