Alongside product, technology, and customer experience innovation and expansion, We are now looking to appoint a Technical Web Analyst to join our Marketing Technology team, focussing on maintaining and improving our tag management and web analytics setup.

This role will report to the Marketing Technology Lead, sitting within the broader team of analysts, marketing operations specialists, and technologists. You will need to work closely with your teammates and the wider marketing team, as well as our engineering and data tribes in Pipedrive.

Your new adventure:

  • As a technical web analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving Pipedrive’s tag management and web analytics capabilities.
  • Providing subject matter expertise and hands-on delivery of our core marketing technology capabilities in the areas of ad tech, tracking, and analytics.
  • Working end-to-end to translate business requirements into coherent and standardized tracking specifications as well as carrying out necessary platform configurations.
  • Work with key business stakeholders to understand and extract insight from our analytics stack.
  • Act as the go-between for business team members and our development and data engineering colleagues
  • Create and maintain analytics documentation.
  • Release management for out tag management solutions, including providing quality assurance - in cooperation with our QA teams where necessary - to ensure successful implementations.

Does this sound like you?

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with key marketing technology platforms (including but not limited to behavioral tracking software, tag management, conversion rate optimization, web analytics, and customer data platforms). This could be agency or client-side experience. 
  • Requirement gathering, vendor reviewing, setting up, configuring, and maintaining mainstream marketing platforms. This could include but is not limited to, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Segment, Optimizely, and Funnel IO.
  • Experience in communicating complex technology solutions in simple terms to business people and translating business needs into technological solutions. 
  • Working in a team of marketing specialists, to provide expert knowledge to deliver better performance for the business.
  • This is a hybrid role, straddling the fence between IT and Marketing. You are a technology enthusiast at heart, with hands-on experience with tools such as but not limited to Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics. 
  • You’ll be able to take business requirements and apply technological solutions to address the needs of stakeholders. 
  • As a specialist in your field, you’ll understand hot topics such as privacy, have a point of view on how the industry is addressing the deprecation of third-party cookies, and be familiar with the ongoing migration to Google Analytics 4.
