DXC Technology has an immediate need in our US Public Sector group for a System Center Configuration Manager Engineer in Boise, ID.

Experienced Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Engineer.3-5 Years experience using SCCM in a Senior Admin or Engineer role.Operate, manage, and maintain the SCCM system.Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in SCCM.Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues.Administer the SCCM tool set back end to keep the system running and healthy, including changes to core components and settings, backups, restores, software delivery, client health, reporting, boundaries, and bandwidth settings.Manage and administer SCCM client health including the process of getting clients healthy.Plan, coordinate, and execute product installations, product upgrades, patch installations, and hot fix installations.Identify unmanaged systems and take appropriate action to bring them under centralized management.Manage and administer SCCM desired state.Perform general SCCM administration and troubleshooting.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience with enterprise level software distribution preferably SCCM.
  • Able to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and recommend, plan and implement changes.
  • Support Incident, Change and Problem Management activities. 
  • Able to lead Root Cause Analysis efforts. 
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, SQL, Network Fundamental Concepts (Protocols, Routing and Firewalls). 
  • Plan, Execute and Manage software distribution services in a large enterprise.
 
This position requires United States Citizenship and eligibility to apply for/obtain a Public Trust Clearance position.
