The Customer Success Manager  is responsible for maintaining relationships with customers within a specified region. Within 30 days, learn and  be familiar with Snowflake solutions, positioning, competition, and product suite. Internalize Snowflake Customer Success stories and Customer Success systems and processes. Within  60 days, begin to engage your portfolio of customers. Become fluent in their history, their goals with Snowflake and the Snowflake team supporting them. Within 90 days, be fully ramped and executing against your initial portfolio of customers. Take ownership of the engagement, retention, and growth of your customers.

As a Customer Success Manager at Snowflake you will:

  • Own the technical relationship with the customer.
  • Work with the customer to understand their unique business challenges and initiatives.
  • Present high-level overview of application capabilities.
  • Gather technical and business requirements in a consultative manner.
  • Assist customers in transferring knowledge to ensure successful use of the solution.
  • Directly responsible for existing and new account relationships.
  • Continuous introduction of new products and features to our customers.
  • Provide training for our customers.
  • Thorough understanding of customer’s business and needs.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and related technologies.

Our ideal Customer Success Manager will have:

  • Passion for Customer Success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in technical support (or other client focused environment).
  • Action oriented with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Natural task and time management skills.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL.
  • Degree in Computer Science.

Bonus points for experience with the following:

  • Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g. Hadoop, HBase,...)
  • Familiarity and experience with common BI and data exploration tools (e.g. Microstrategy, Business Objects, Tableau,…)
  • Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack,…)
  • Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools.
  • Experience using AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, Elastic MapReduce, Data Pipeline.
  • Proven success at enterprise software startups.
