LOCATION: Bangalore

ONSITE: This role requires the student to work from the Bangalore office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite.

HYBRID: This is a hybrid role (remote & in-office) requiring the student work from the Bangalore office approximately 4 days a week. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite/hybrid (not part time).

PROGRAM TERM:

  • Tentative start months – May/June/July 2024
  • duration of their internship – 9 – 12 months

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As a member of the Server DFT Team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the DFT design verification and ATPG pattern generation of AMD’s next generation Server SoCs. This position will involve developing and executing both IP and SOC-level RTL verification testplans, testbench, etc to ensure design correctness, ATPG pattern generation and Simulations. It will also involve working with the post-silicon team on the initial wafers for Sort testing and debug.

Responsibilities include:

Developing Testplans based on the Architecture/Design Spec

Developing required Testbench, Testbench components like Agents, Monitor, Scoreboards, Checkers and Tests

Executing and debugging tests at both IP level and the SoC level

Executing pattern generation and simulation tasks

Improve automation/testing capabilities

Requirements:

Strong Digital Design and Computer Architecture knowledge

Strong background in Verilog, SystemVerilog (SV), SVA, UVM verification methodologies and C++

Python and/or Perl programming will be an added advantage

Familiarity with Unix/Linux OS as well as Windows

Good teamwork and communication skills, strong analytical/problem solving abilities, and able to work independently are desired qualities.

Qualifications:

Final year BE or ME in Electrical/Computer Engineering with GPA of atleast 3.0/4.0
