Summary:
The RN-Clinical Research Nurse in Lewis Katz School of Medicine’ s Surgery (TMS) Department will be responsible for the day-to-day activities surrounding clinical research studies, and will ensure compliance with federal, state and university regulations. The incumbent will work with investigators on multiple active protocols and will interact closely with the sponsors from qualification visits to close-out visits.

The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) in collaboration with the Clinical Investigators will be responsible for:
Under the supervision of the Department of Surgery Research Administrator, the Research Nurse will conduct Clinical Trials in adherence with FDA, IRB, Pennsylvania, and related regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Professional licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of PA. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience:
BSN preferred. Critical Care/ICU experience and at least one year of research experience.
Required Skills & Abilities:
This position requires a background check.
This position requires Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.
