Hertz is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be capable of overseeing and managing HR projects, initiatives, and programs within our organization. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

A Day in the Life 

This role will be an on-campus role sitting at our Corporate Headquarters in Estero, Florida. A typical day will see you attending meetings, supporting project initiatives by monitoring timelines and deliverables, and creating dashboards and communication decks to keep business partners aware of project status. You will be overseeing several different projects and will also lead the change management for projects as necessary. This will include putting together rollout plans and holding meetings with the business. 

What You'll Do 

  • Lead and manage HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. 
  • Collaborate with HR and Business leadership to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project tasks, monitor progress, and resolve issues as they arise. 
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and key deliverables to stakeholders, including senior management. 
  • Conduct regular project meetings to track progress, address challenges, and solicit feedback from team members. 
  • Evaluate project outcomes against established goals and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. 

What We're Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience 
  • PMP or other Project Management Certification, preferred 
  • 5 years of Project Management Experience 
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite 
  • Ability to provide analytics, identify trends, communicate, and present insights from the data 
  • Demonstrated project/program management skills highly preferred 
  • Proven track record of completing projects to specifications while dealing with challenges such as changing schedules, transformation, location strategy and evolving requirements 
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team and with internal business partners 
  • Ability to influence others without formal authority 
  • Analytical mindset, resilient, and tenacious 
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships 
  • Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations 
  • Ability to work comfortably across functional and geographical boundaries 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience presenting project status 
  • Knowledge of Visio and Project, preferred 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Results driven
