As a Software Engineer at Waters Romania (Brasov), you will work on projects critical to our Informatics business needs.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Direct and coordinate the Informatics Architecture effort with regard to Empower.
  • Clearly communicate architectural designs and guidance, as appropriate, throughout the Waters organization
  • Act as main design authority for software architecture as it relates to Empower software products
  • Identify technical opportunities for improved productivity
  • Provide strategic guidance on Empower software architecture to the Chief Architect
  • Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with Quality Policy and all applicable procedures

For this role you will be:

  • AWS solid background
  • Solid knowledge in Cloud architecture design patterns
  • A strong team player who is able to work with enthusiasm in a collaborative environment.
  • BA/BS Degree (or equivalent), preferably in a computer science related field of study
  • Substantial proven development experience in a relevant computer science technology including software architectural design and programming
  • Experience of software lifecycles with regulatory requirements including as appropriate ISO9001
  • Preferably (although not essential), has good level of the Empower domain. Ability to solve complex problems and work under own guidance.
  • Has good understand of non-functional requirements (security, maintainability, extensibility, scalability, etc)
  • Proves strong communication skills with both technical and business teams
  • Is capable of system modularization with feedback from the stakeholders, focused on detecting potential reuse opportunities inside the system or in the organization
  • Help with decisions around available technologies during development process and responsible for guidelines and standards

Qualifications

  • For this role you will be expected to have:
  • Commercial experience of object oriented analysis and design.
  • Web and cloud based applications architecture and development experience
  • Commercial experience C# Development.
  • Commercial experience or knowledge of Test Driven Development.
  • Experience of working within a formal development process covering the full development lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of V-Model, Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.
  • Degree in a science, engineering or computing related subject or relevant experience.
  • For this role you will ideally have:
  • Experience of software development with the Empower space.
  • Experience of software architect design
  • Experience in Performance Testing, BDD, Security testing and Test Automation.
