The Head of Marketing is responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of the marketing strategy across online and offline channels. The role will include providing strong support to the sales strategy and team and manage research, insights, brand, experiential, outdoor, digital, influencer and PR campaigns in close coordination with our HQ team based in San Francisco. This position reports to the UK GM.

  • Lead overall JUUL marketing in the UK
  • Develop UK-specific marketing and messaging based on local market research and consumer insights
    • Monitor & research users / potential users’ needs and behaviors, trends, best practices and new channel marketing opportunities
  • Manage brand strategy and creative development with support from external agencies
    • Develop and project manage creative execution,  adapting (if needed) from the current US marketing and messaging
  • Execute channel and product marketing strategies to grow JUUL sales in the UK
    • Provide marketing ideas and manage initiatives for user acquisition/activations and retention both offline and online
  • Manage PR and influencers in close coordination with our global teams and local advisers
  • Recruit and manage UK marketing team; manage marketing budget
    • Monitor each marketing action/campaign performance and analyze ROI
    • Provide reports and analysis
  • Work with JUUL HQ to ensure strategic and brand alignment, interfacing with sales, marketing, regulatory and supply chain teams to get appropriate support

  • Leverage quantitative analysis to drive all insights & findings
  • Communicate effectively with all levels
  • Work cross-functionally within a medium-sized, flexible organization
  • Take strong positions backed by analysis & business acumen
  • 5+ years experience
    • In marketing agencies or business functions of a top brand
    • In a highly regulated environment (vaping, health, alcohol industries)
    • Expertise in offline marketing as well as digital brand management
  • Problem-solving, analytical, project management and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable with both strategy and execution
  • Fluent in English
