Job Requirements:
- Support the Business Continuity Management (BCM) function within Group Security & Resilience, with a primary focus on Group entities and Eastspring Investments businesses.
- Support the review, publication and implementation of the Business Continuity Standard and relevant operational resilience requirements under the Group Resilience Policy (GRP).
- Deliver third-party resilience risk due diligence for vendors, including assurance and development of new initiatives to enhance the framework, in partnership with procurement and third-party risk teams.
- Guide the first line (1LOD) and local business unit (LBU) activities with technical advice and support, including training, as required.
- Develop and maintain metrics and ensure routine and ad hoc reporting is delivered within set parameters.
- Work closely with all members of the Group Security & Resilience team and IT, tech risk, procurement and third-party risk teams, as well as LBUs.
- Drive and deliver business continuity and resilience programme implementation and report to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Ensure that gaps and areas of risk to the business are reported and escalated as needed.
- Conduct BCM performance reviews with in-scope LBUs, discuss findings with management and ensure appropriate responses are obtained for each issue raised and that actions are closed.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience – 4-5 years relevant experience in Business Continuity and/or Operational Resilience, preferably with experience in a second line (2LOD) role.
- Experience in third-party resilience is highly advantageous.
- Qualification – A relevant technical degree, preferably with a relevant professional certification(s) such as MBCI/CBCI/CBCM/CBCP/EDRP.
- Preferred industry (in order of priority)
- Financial services (Banking, Insurance etc.) Consultancy – Technical Advisory, BCM Services Tech Companies (Digital Fintech, Digital Banks etc.)
- Technical experience:
- Experience in implementing and enforcing risk-based standards, processes, and procedures for responding to operational disruption in at least two or more of the following areas:
- (Required) Business Continuity
- Operational Resilience
- IT infrastructure management (e.g., network and databases) and/or technology risk management
- IT operations (e.g., data centre management, backup, batch processing, incident, and problem management) and/or Disaster Recovery
- Third-party resilience
- Cybersecurity (e.g., NIST framework, security operations)
