Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with competitive benefits and wages ranging from $36.48 - 38.69 per hour. All Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
  • This position is eligible for a $1,000 Sign On Bonus!
  • This position is eligible for shift differential for evenings and nights

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU transitional care unit patients’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for our Vibrant Care Center in Lake City, MN

Part-time Nursing schedule includes;

  • 32 hours in two weeks, eve/nights 12 hour shifts, every third weekend
  • Self scheduling. Pick your own hours!

Lake City Care Center is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. At any given time, as many as 90 people call the care center their home. The care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care
  • Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care
  • RN – Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current MN RN license by start date
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers by start date

Preferred:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
  • Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
