About the Role:

As the Senior Manager, Commercial Services, you will help develop pricing strategy across the Association for B2C and B2B propositions, products, and markets and developing processes and techniques to assess the financial viability of Association propositions. Through the development and introduction of leading-edge tools and techniques, you will help to evolve the Association’s go-to-market strategy and sophistication in pricing and propositions development. You will oversee revenue, margin, growth and Average Revenue Per Member ARPM and Net Price Realized NPR target delivery through pricing and proposition initiatives and will develop commercial management and control processes. This is a leadership position, supervising a small team, reporting into the Commercial Director. This role can work remotely in the US*

You Will:

  • Set pricing strategy for B2C and B2B markets across international territories, for a diverse digital product, events, solutions portfolio, and membership subscription services
  • Deliver B2C pricing strategy and decisions requiring an optimal balance between increasing revenue and prices, whilst minimizing negative impact on sales volumes and customer retention targets.
  • Lead transformation of pricing capability through the pricing curve to include strategic development of pricing capability, underpinned by excellent data analytics and pricing research, delivered through vendor partnerships.
  • Develop new propositions for the financial governance process.
  • Model new propositions economics and apply rigorous propositions due diligence.
  • Track new proposition financial performance against the approved business case targets.
  • Collaborate with teams including CIMA, AICPA product and portfolio management, outsourced delivery squads, Finance and Marketing and membership teams to deliver a pricing strategy and propositions viability assurance service.

You Have:

  • Expertise in pricing techniques and tools.
  • Experience of and skills in business case modeling and go-to-market financial processes.
  • Experience conducting analysis to reach sound business conclusions.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel (can perform complex functions) modeling skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Economics or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years in progressive roles utilizing pricing expertise.
  • Prior experience leading project teams or as manager of pricing team.
