We are partnered with an irrigation company hiring for a temporary (~3 months) accounting clerk. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a background in accounting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable:
  • Generate and send invoices to clients for services rendered.
  • Record payments received and reconcile accounts receivable ledger.
  • Prepare and send statements of account to clients as needed.
  1. Accounts Payable:
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
  • Verify accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
  • Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements.
  • Address any discrepancies or billing issues with vendors.
  1. Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents.
  • Assist with other accounting projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM 

Pay: $18-$20/hour
