Salary: $18-$20/hour
We are partnered with an irrigation company hiring for a temporary (~3 months) accounting clerk. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a background in accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and send invoices to clients for services rendered.
- Record payments received and reconcile accounts receivable ledger.
- Prepare and send statements of account to clients as needed.
- Accounts Payable:
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Verify accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
- Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements.
- Address any discrepancies or billing issues with vendors.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents.
- Assist with other accounting projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
Pay: $18-$20/hour
