Role Overview

Joining the central Global Reward team, you will play a crucial role in assisting the HR and Reward teams in designing, implementing, and managing various reward programs and projects within the organization. You will lead the delivery of cyclical and non-cyclical reward projects, developing processes, creating standards, and delivering on initiatives. You will be working closely with regional reward team members and other key stakeholders within HR, Finance and the business in particular supporting our year end processes for incentives and annual salary review.

As well as non-cyclical projects, such as sales incentives, recognition schemes, governance, M&A activity and pay transparency. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, data analysis, and communication with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of compensation and benefits initiatives.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support in the effective delivery of reward initiatives in line with our global reward principles, so that we continue to attract, engage and retain great people. As well as ensuring the effective management of reward processes and projects, benefits offerings and recognition schemes.

Key responsibilities

Compensation Planning:

  • Takes a leading role in the year end incentive and salary review processes, acting as main point of contact for regional reward teams, HRIS and People Services.
  • Manage global compensation suppliers to ensure ability for ongoing development and maintenance of compensation structures and pay scales.
  • Undertakes external and internal salary benchmarking using a variety of sources with an eye to which sources are most relevant for dentsu.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor reward-related projects. Key focus areas will include incentives, governance, and benefits.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting established objectives.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Data Analysis:

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret compensation and benefits data to identify trends and insights.
  • Conducts benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Prepares presentations on reward data and projects pulling out key insights for the audience.

Communication and Compliance:

  • Inputs into the designs of reward processes, tools, and communications.
  • Resolves complex reward queries from stakeholders in HR and Finance. 
  • Proactively engages the local HR community in reward practices and projects.
  • Stay current with relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all reward-related practices. 

Qualifications + Skills

  • Proven experience in compensation and benefits analysis, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, e.g., salary survey & job evaluation methods.
  • Experience and knowledge of the annual compensation cycle including salary and incentive reviews, market data collection and analysis, market research and budgeting for salary increases.
  • Strong project management skills (from design to implementation), with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously maintaining disciplines and focus, managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits laws, regulations, and best practices in at least one of our core locations.
  • Experience providing thought out deliverables that align to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced international organisation; operating across multiple time zones and countries would be an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships internally and externally (e.g., supplier management).
