We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated and tech savvy sales professional to help develop our Professional Tools business and providing sustainable growth in Norway!

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the RIDGID and KLAUKE sales in distribution networks and diversified end-users in different markets like plumbing, HVAC, contractors in sprinkler, infrastructure, mining, drain cleaning and electrical business. You will plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contacts to achieve the agreed business goals.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Generate sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and new customers.
  • Support sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the weekly recording of visit and action reports. Follow up on all sales-leads, distributor performance and offers.
  • Take part in hands-on demonstrations, trade shows and roadshow (demoVan) events to promote products.
  • Maintain the relations with existing local dealers & end-users in the targeted segments.
  • Train the sales staff in distributors as well as end-user customers.
  • Visiting key account customers like construction companies, municipalities, contractors, oil & gas and mining companies.
  • Classify the product range according to related potential customers & distributors.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years proven capability of managing accounts/agents and track record for sales in one of following sectors: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, oil & gas, infrastructure.
  • Passion for new technology, especially in the field of specialized tools, and eagerness to learn and develop your skills within our team.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, able to establish good relations with colleagues in the company and different levels within the customers' organization. 
  • Self-starter results driven personality, able to approach challenges with a positive demeanor, accountability and a clear focus on high quality sales, customer satisfaction & loyalty.
  • Willingness to work fully remote and travel domestically (to meet customers across the country) & internationally (for in-person training at our other sites).
  • Proficient in English and digital literacy.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

  • University studies in a Technical field.
