Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Stanford Health Care's (SHC) mission is to heal humanity through science and compassion, one patient at a time. The Strategic Space Planning and Management team serves as stewards of space within the Stanford Health Care enterprise. Utilizing a model of influence and a comprehensive understanding of resources, we optimize space and facilitate informed decision-making and organizational change through effective governance, with the goal of enhancing patient care.
The Strategic Space Planning and Management Project Manager will be passionate, organized, and detail-oriented, overseeing multiple operations-funded projects. This role is responsible for managing and analyzing space requests, developing strategic space solutions with minimal infrastructure impacts per SHC space standards, providing clear communications to key partners and stakeholders, and developing presentations that align with FS&P (Facilities Services & Planning) graphic standards. In developing solutions for space requests, they will consider scope, capacity, and departmental impacts while promoting collaboration among stakeholders at all levels.
This role reports to the Director of Strategic Space Planning and Management, is responsible for identifying and resolving project issues, and is accountable for project success. This person must have strong communication skills in acting as a liaison to the project team, customer, key stakeholders, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting a Health Care built environment through space planning, occupancy planning, architecture, construction, or interior design. They have project management experience and can provide actionable solutions.

A Brief Overview
The Project Manager (PM) leads key organization initiatives for Stanford Health Care. Project Managers are responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project management on assigned projects, including, but not limited to, project scope, project schedule, project budget, project plans, facilitating meetings, documenting requirements, overseeing development, operational workflows, and implementation. Additionally, the Project Manager directs participants in compliance and regulatory alignment efforts.
The Project Manager is responsible for identifying and resolving project issues, making sure the project progresses on schedule and on budget. The PM is the point of communication with stakeholders and is accountable for the project's success. The Project Manager must have strong communication skills in acting as the liaison between the project team, subcontractor, customer, key stakeholders, and senior leadership. The Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for project delivery. The Project Manager may direct the project/senior project coordinator (PC or Sr. PC) to expedite project related tasks.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $54.22 - $71.84 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
