Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

ChampionX is seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist to support the Chemical Technologies segment located in Sugar Land, Texas. This role will manage the development and execution of regional marketing communications projects in support of the Western Hemisphere Marketing Communications team.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement customer-facing, marketing communications campaigns, projects, sales collateral, ads, tradeshow and conference planning, web content, videos, training materials, and more, in partnership with regional marketing teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support strategy development for the Western Hemisphere regions, working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager and other regional leaders.
  • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing and direct the work of internal Digital Marketing, Creative Services, and Events teams, as well as third-party contractors and agencies, to develop and execute projects according to the regional strategy.
  • Support planning and execution of our regional tradeshow and customer events, including facilitating the review and submission process for abstracts, external technical papers, and presentations.
  • Adhere to and help improve workflow processes when and where needed
  • Monitor and report project expenses and process invoices with accounts payable
  • Champion the company brand identity across all developed materials and uphold brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a communications role
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to quickly build trust and strong professional relationships
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Adobe Workfront
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas or specialty chemicals industries
