Real Estate Valuation Specialist (Institutional)

What You’ll Do:

The Acquisition Specialist supports the process in all aspects of valuating and executing transactions for OfferPad. Ideally, this person has past and current real estate experience and is looking for a great office job with awesome benefits where they can grow and thrive!

Day in The Life:

  • Underwriting OfferPad offers to customers on single family properties
  • Working full-time at the company office
  • Analyze properties from a variety of different sources
  • Analyze data and trends to proactively identify current market values and make accurate valuations on an assortment of different product types and price points in your real estate market

What You Have:

  • Thorough understanding of the real estate market
  • BPO experience (Broker Price Opinions)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property valuation for single family homes
  • Experience working in real estate and understanding true market value, BPO experience, and past REO account management is preferred
  • Understanding of applicable state requirements and regulations as they relate to underwriting single family homes
  • Active or inactive real estate license
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Proficient in common computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Work well independently and in a team; Self-starter and independent worker, but not hesitant to ask for direction when needed
  • Solid work ethic and a professional, proactive and positive approach to work
  • Strong quantitative and analytical ability and internet research, organization and communication skills
  • Effective decision-making skills and an ability to perform under deadline pressure
  • Required to work weekends
