Business Unit

Corporate Information Technology (IT) partners with each division in KLA-Tencor to develop, engage and promote global enterprise solution leading the way with innovations which meet the business’ needs.

IT is responsible for delivering consultative services in support of our world-wide design engineering teams to meet our strategic objectives of bringing new products to market Better, Faster, and Cheaper.

As a Systems Analyst supporting our PTC and Solidworks environment for our Product Divisions and Global Operations your technical leadership within KLA-Tencor IT department is responsible for providing solutions to technical and strategic challenges in product development so as to improve product time to market and operational excellence and create a competitive advantage through Information Technology


  • CAD System Administrator
  • Service owner for mechanical CAD applications: PTC Creo / Intralink (primary), SolidWorks / EPDM (secondary), associated simulation tools and supporting applications.

    Develop product roadmap in alignment with requirements from Engineering steering committees and vendors offerings. 

    Manage application landscape within vendor recommendations and KT standards/best practices.

    Manage support for CAD users within service level agreements, including ticket resolution and library maintenance, templates.  Develop end-user guides for software installation and resolving common problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical design using PTC Creo (required) and SolidWorks (preferable).  Experience in implementation of CAD file management systems, including lifecycle management.

    Windows server management, including start/stop services, storage management; Apache tomcat; Flex/LM license management; scripting (Windows script, Windows Power Shell); SQL Management Studio, Oracle SQL Plus.

    Web site maintenance, including SharePoint Designer

    Excellent written and verbal skills

          Bachelor's Level Degree with 8-12  years of experience.
