Production Planner - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

Overall mission:

As a Production Planner at our flavor-producing site in Makó, our mission is to ensure the seamless coordination of production activities to reach high-level efficiency, resource utilization, and on-time delivery of high-quality flavors. By analyzing demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities, we aim to develop large production schedules that meet customer requirements while minimizing waste and maximizing productivity. This role is opening as a maternity cover position with a fix term contract until 31.12.2024. You will be based in Makó, reporting to the Production Planning Expert.

You will:

  • Participate in the setting up period of the planning department of Makó site
  • Manage daily, weekly MTO (make to order) and MTS (make to stock) Planning
  • Confirm delivery dates to the Customer Care
  • Manage expedites (rush orders) and follow customers request. Find optimum production date.
  • Issue Process Orders for production
  • Release process orders at the right time and make sure, that production will receive the whole paper work on the right sequence. Be sure, that all raw materials are available for the released production orders
  • Manage Capacity Constraints together with production and look for solutions
  • Improve stock level as per regional plannings proposal
  • Control and maintenance of SAP Masterdata such as Lead Time and pack sizes together with production. Cooperate with regional planning regarding parameter such as safety stock, lot size
  • Handle non-conform productions and plan rework/re-blending orders.
  • Expired batch control and discard
  • Close follow up and cooperation with regional planning regarding product and forecast information
  • Communication to Planners regarding delays or quantity changes
  • Cooperate with RM Request Planners regarding production priorities/ regarding handling of RM delays or quantity changes
  • Ensure steady information flow among other department interfaces (Quality, Manufacturing, Warehouse)
  • Replace other planners during their absence
  • Participate in production planning projects

General rules:

  • Ensure conformity with food safety (HACCP) and quality management regulations (e.g. FSSC 22000)
  • During working , You will keep the Food Safety principles in mind and strive to increase food safety awareness in all circumstances
  • Comply with Health and Safety and Fire protection regulations.
  • Comply with management regulations and other directives and act accordingly

You:

  • College / University Graduate
  • 1-3 years of planning and inventory management experience
  • SAP knowledge
  • Proficient in English, native in Hungarian language
  • German knowledge would be beneficial
