Role: Assistant Manager - Business Support Operations (Billing, Collections & Finance Operations)

Location: Mumbai

JD:

  • Manage entire Contract Life cycle (both Pre-Sales and Post – sales activities) 
  • Draft, review, Manage, negotiate, execute & monitor contracts and subsequent renewals
  • Prepare obligation register, risk analysis, drafting contracts, change requests or contract amendments, 
  • Draft defense of disputes, part of customer contract governance, supporting delivery communications to mitigate future risks, Vetting scope of works etc
  • Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
  • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
  • Maintain customer accounts and ensure billing accuracy, consistent revenue generation, delivery of billing information to customers and address billing discrepancies.
  • Providing support in audits.

Broad outline of the role: 

  • Demonstrate excellent coordination and interpersonal skills in driving results
  • Support with SOW finalization (discussing contract clauses from a business and legal perspective).
  • Support Account / Sales Team in negotiating contractual terms with the customer in Change Request and SOW
  • Support Delivery Team in negotiating contractual terms with Customer in Change Request and SOW with back-to-back Customer requirement flow.
  • Manage customer contract, which includes Drafting, Vetting and Implementations of contracts 
  • Ensure the engagement's deliverable tracking process/system complies with the contract. Identify non-compliance issues and support their resolution.
  • On an ongoing basis, supporting the implementation of contract management in delivery, working with cross functional teams.
  • Once the deal is won, drafting the contracts getting it vetted from legal, finance and signing the same with the customer, in accordance with the organizational policy ensuring compliances.
  • Guiding the delivery team on the contractual obligations and sharing the contract summary with them.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, maintaining associated documentation, and other duties as may be assigned.
  • Responsible for ensuring that where Contract Management is deployed, contract compliance is maintained, and issues resolved. If the contract is not complied with or issues are not resolved, they must be promptly escalated to leadership team.
  • To ensure there is no revenue leakage by working in close co-ordination with delivery team, right from the time the contract is signed, delivery started until the approvals from the customer are in place and invoices are submitted and accepted by customer for payments.
