Job Description & Summary: A career within the Banking sector, focusing on Core Banking as a Technical Project Manager, offers an opportunity to engage in key projects and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure project deliverables meet technical standards and requirements in Finacle,Flexcube and Temenos.
• Collaborate with technical architects and developers to design and implement solutions.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that expenditures align with financial constraints.
• Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to meet project goals.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources using a structured change management process.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Strong communication, written and document management skills.
• Ability to track and manage delivery of multiple simultaneous projects
• Sharing project status of critical projects with Senior management
• Setting up governance framework and scorecard-based compliance index to assess adherence
• Ensure that core banking solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.

Mandatory skill sets:

• Strong understanding of core banking systems (Flexcube (FCR 11.11,FCUBS 14.X), Finacle, Temenos).
• Strong understanding of Product processors like OBDX,OBPM,OBCL
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
• Efficiently managing time to meet project deadlines.
• Understanding and prioritizing the needs of the customer or end-user.

Preferred skill sets:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Internet banking and Mobile banking
• Experience in digital transformation projects within banking.
• Technical/Functional certification in any of the Core Banking Products.

Years of experience required:

4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Banking/Consulting and Project Management

Education qualification:

B.Tech/B.Com with MBA preferred
