This is a high profile, challenging and exciting position to work as part of Arup China business development team to work closely with business leader of Beijing branch as well as project engineers and technicians to bringing new business opportunities through explore new client and pay attention to new market trends.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the business leader in North China to make the business development core plan.

2. Discuss with business leaders on the key points of market development, assist to follow up strategic projects, explore potential market and focus on developing and maintaining good relationship with customers. Focus on construction business etc.

3. Responsible for developing quality new customers, identify and analyze project opportunities, and follow up projects independently, including communicate contract terms with clients, and coordinate between clients and engineers.

4. To analyze marketing data regularly and report.

5. Market research, to integrate related industry information resources, Identify qualified customers.

6. to use CRM system for client and project management.

7. Annual work summary, and to make next year's work plan.

8. Business travel frequently for business needs.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor degree or above in marketing/economics/management, engineering or other relevant discipline is preferred.

2. Familiar with engineering consulting industry, 5-10 years’ experience in business development or marketing; Experience in real estate, architectural design, project management, or overseas experience in related industry in North China is preferred.

3. Good understanding of client’s needs and company service scope.

4. Good creative, forward-looking thinking, clear thinking and decision-making skills.

5. Good coordination and strain capacity.

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Good English and Chinese writing skills.
